Colorado Preservation, Inc.'s Saving Places Conference has become the largest statewide historic preservation conference in the country. Saving Places is a forum for preservationists, architects, planners, community leaders, Commissioners, historians, archaeologists, state and local officials, educators, students, owners of old buildings, Main Street Coordinators, landscape architects, developers, contractors, sub-contractors, craftsmen, and advocates of preserving American heritage.

    Saving Places 2001: Preserving Diverse Cultural Heritage
    Saving Places 2001: Preserving Diverse Cultural Heritage attracted 650 participants -- the largest gathering of preservationists in the Rocky Mountain Region, including 24 scholarship recipients, ninety speakers, including Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell, offered 24 educational sessions, four general sessions, three tours, two receptions, two book signings, and a movie premiere.
