For the past 35 years, our annual awards dinner has been named in honor of Dana Crawford, a true visionary and one of our state’s most esteemed preservationists. Dana was a preservation pioneer who demonstrated that saving historic buildings could be economically beneficial. The Dana Crawford and State Honor Awards recognize individuals, organizations, public agencies, and businesses from across the state whose work exemplifies excellence in historic preservation. Dana embodied the dedication to preservation that CPI celebrates each year at this event.
