CPI’s Places In Progress
Colorado Preservation, Inc. (CPI) is dedicated to safeguarding Colorado’s historic treasures through its Endangered Places Program. This initiative identifies and highlights significant sites across the state that face imminent threats, advocating for their preservation and raising awareness about their historical and cultural importance. Among these, several places are marked as “in-progress,” reflecting ongoing efforts to renovate, restore, and breathe new life into these irreplaceable landmarks.
The in-progress projects under the Endangered Places Program showcase the collaborative efforts of communities, preservationists, and CPI. These ongoing endeavors range from the meticulous restoration of historic buildings to the adaptive reuse of structures that have stood the test of time. By focusing on current endangered places, CPI not only preserves the architectural integrity and historical essence of these sites but also fosters a deeper appreciation for Colorado’s rich heritage. Each project is a testament to the dedication and resilience of those committed to protecting the past while building a sustainable future.
