Member Sponsorship Advantage Program

CPI business members who choose to layer an event sponsorship on top of their membership receive enhanced benefits not available to non-member sponsors. This program rewards existing business and nonprofit organizational members for deepening their investment in CPI — and gives sponsors a compelling reason to become members first.

The Member Sponsor Advantage applies to sponsorships of both the Saving Places Conference and the Dana Crawford & State Honor Awards event. Benefits scale with the member's existing membership tier.

Key principle: Event sponsorships remain a separate investment from membership. The Member Sponsor Advantage provides incentives — including a discounted sponsorship rate, priority placement, and extended year-round recognition — that make membership a smart prerequisite for any business or nonprofit considering a CPI event sponsorship.

In practical terms, businesses that hold a Business Premier or Business Preservation Circle membership and go on to sponsor the Saving Places Conference or the Dana Crawford & State Honor Award receive benefits that pay for themselves. For example, a Business Premier member who sponsors at the $5,000 level saves $500 on that sponsorship alone, on top of the recognition and access described below.
